PCBB, a banker’s bank serving community financial institutions across the country, is looking for a dedicated Marketing Intern to join our team to support new and ongoing marketing efforts. This is a remote role, but the PCBB team is closely connected through regular virtual, and occasional in-person, meetings that help foster innovation and collaboration.

Description of Job Duties:
We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and talented Intern to join our team for the Winter/Spring term. As a Marketing Intern at a leading bankers' bank, you will support a variety of marketing efforts focused on serving community financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a passion for marketing in general. During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience working with a dynamic marketing team and collaborating across departments, including product, sales, and executive teams. You will assist with and take ownership of specific projects, allowing you to develop your skills in content creation, social media execution, data analysis, and more. This role will expose you to the unique needs of a B2B marketing and sales teams, while also helping to enhance your project management, communication, creative problem-solving skills, and overall marketing experience. 
Video Editing:
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to create engaging and professional videos for promotional or educational purposes.
  • Edit and enhance raw video footage and audio, ensuring content aligns with PCBB branding guidelines.
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, music, and other visual elements to elevate the quality of marketing videos.
  • Edit and review scripts.
Social Media Content Creation:
  • Craft compelling post content in line with product and company branding.
  • Design visually appealing graphics for social messaging on LinkedIn. 
  • Research other ways to enhance our messaging to encourage more engagement with our audience.
  • Utilize Canva.com or other graphic design software to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across all visual elements.
Data Cleaning:
  • Assist in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining Marketing’s database.
  • Work with marketing analytics tools to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve data quality issues.
Collaboration:
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
  • Engage in collaborative projects to support overall marketing objectives.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Actively pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design.
  • Familiarity with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition, or Vegas Pro)
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with posting on LinkedIn and other social channels
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently 
  • This internship requires a commitment of between 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility to set a mutually agreed-upon schedule that aligns with both the candidate’s schedule and PCBB needs.
