PCBB’s C&I Loan Program gives you access to fully funded, senior secured, floating-rate loans with globally recognized brands. Adding these loans to your mix can help you diversify your portfolio and manage risk while also hitting yield targets. The program was designed with community financial institutions in mind.

All loans in the C&I program are senior secured Term Loan Bs (secured by a first priority lien on assets). They have a five- to seven-year maturity at origination, amortize at a minimum of 1% per year, and have a balloon repayment structure at maturity. The bank loans are originated with covenants, and the frequency of compliance testing is based on the terms of the credit agreement.

Loans for this program must meet the following criteria at a minimum: a leverage ≤5.00x, strong debt service coverage ≥1.75x, $700MM and larger, and a rating above BB-.

Once you’ve chosen a loan, your institution will follow its existing underwriting procedures, as our program is built to integrate seamlessly with your current workflow. We are here to support you at every stage—whether it’s helping to establish lending policies, select loans, manage underwriting, or handle ongoing monitoring and servicing.

An institution must have total assets of at least $100MM and cannot be under a consent order that speaks to your institution’s viability. The minimum purchase size is $1MM; purchase size per loan <10% Tier 1 Capital + ALLL; total aggregate program exposure <100% Tier 1 Capital.
